Browser extension for Chrome and Edge

Write the article from the results you are already looking at

Open a search on Google or Bing and open the side panel. SERP to Article measures the pages that rank, picks the keywords that matter, lets you edit an outline, then writes an original article with your own OpenRouter key.

Start from what already ranks, not from a blank page

Before writing for a search, most people open the top results in ten tabs, count headings, copy questions into a document and guess at keywords. SERP to Article does that groundwork in the side panel, next to the results page, and leaves every decision to you: the topic, the keywords, the outline and the model that writes.

How it works

  1. Open a search

Search on Google or Bing as you normally would. Click the small Open the editor box on the results page, or the extension icon, to open the side panel. The extension never runs searches by itself.

  2. Analysis

It reads the results you opened, measures the top pages and, with one click, lets AI choose the keywords that matter.

  3. Outline

You pick the article topic. The AI proposes a title and an outline, with keywords for each section. You edit all of it before anything is written.

  4. Article

The article is written section by section while a live report shows which keywords are in and which are missing. Copy it as Markdown or HTML.

Step 1 · Analysis

See what the top pages have in common

The extension reads the results page you opened, then measures the pages that rank so you know what you are writing against.

  • The top organic results, the "People also ask" questions and the related searches.
  • For up to 10 top pages: length, sections, headings, images, meta title and meta description, plus the phrases they repeat.
  • One click and AI picks the main keyword, secondary keywords, long-tail keywords and topics.

Step 2 · Outline

Your angle, your structure

Give the article your own topic, or leave it empty to write about the search itself. The search query stays the main keyword either way, so the article still targets it.

  • The AI proposes a title and an outline, and gives each section its own keywords.
  • Edit headings, subheadings, notes and keywords before anything is written.
  • Not happy with it? Regenerate the outline and start again from there.

Step 3 · Article

Watch it being written, and see what is missing

The article is written section by section and appears as it is generated. Next to it, a report follows every keyword from your outline.

Used

The keyword appears in the article, with a count.

Partly used

Some of its words are there, but not the full phrase.

Missing

Not in the article yet. You decide whether it belongs.

The main keyword, where it counts

The report also checks that the main keyword is in the title, in the first paragraph and in the subheadings.

Take it wherever you publish

Copy the article as Markdown or HTML and paste it into your editor or CMS, or save the keywords, questions and article to a file.

Everything it does

  • Works on Google and Bing results pages
  • Captures organic results, "People also ask" and related searches
  • Measures up to 10 top pages: words, sections, headings, images, meta tags
  • AI keyword selection: main, secondary, long-tail and topics
  • Editable title, headings, subheadings, notes and per-section keywords
  • Article written section by section, visible as it is generated
  • Live keyword report: used, partly used, missing
  • Copy as Markdown or HTML, or save to a file
  • Estimated cost shown before every AI request
  • Interface in English and Romanian, and a Reset button to start over

Your key, your costs

The AI features use your own OpenRouter API key. You choose the model and pay the provider directly. There is nothing to buy from us and no subscription.

  • An estimate before every request. Each AI button shows what it is likely to cost before you press it.
  • Cheap models go a long way. With a low-cost model such as openai/gpt-4o-mini, a whole article costs a fraction of a cent.

Your work stays in your browser

  • No server, no account, no analytics. Nothing is ever sent to us.
  • Your key, settings and work are kept in the browser's extension storage, which web pages cannot read.
  • When you use AI, it sends structured data only (query, titles, meta descriptions, headings, questions, keywords and your outline) straight to OpenRouter.
  • The full text of competing pages is never sent. It is measured in your browser and stays there.

What it asks the browser for, and why

At install it gets storage, the side panel, the Google and Bing results pages and OpenRouter. Any other site only when you ask for an analysis, and only the sites in those results.

Storage storage

At install

Saves your OpenRouter key, preferences and current work (analysis, keywords, outline, article) locally, so it survives closing the side panel.

Side panel sidePanel

At install

The whole interface runs in the browser's side panel, next to the search results.

Google and Bing results pages

At install

OpenRouter openrouter.ai

At install

The top results' websites

When you ask

Questions

Is it free?

The extension has no price, no account and no paid tier. The AI features run on your own OpenRouter key, so you pay OpenRouter for what you use.

How much does one article cost?

It depends on the model you choose. With a low-cost model such as openai/gpt-4o-mini, a whole article costs a fraction of a cent. Before every AI request the extension shows the estimated cost, so you decide before anything is spent.

Does it copy the pages that rank?

No. The AI never receives the text of the ranking pages, only structured data: titles, meta descriptions, headings, questions, keywords and your outline. It writes from your outline, so it has nothing to copy from.

Does it run searches on Google or Bing by itself?

No. It reads only the results page you opened yourself.

Why does it ask for access to other websites?

Only when you press Analyze top results, and only for the domains of those results, so it can download the pages and measure them. The permission is not requested at install, the requests carry no cookies, and you can revoke it in the browser's extension settings. See what it asks for.

Which browsers and search engines does it support?

Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. It reads results pages on the supported Google and Bing search domains.

Where is my work stored?

In your browser's extension storage, which web pages cannot read. Nothing is sent to us: the extension has no server. Reset deletes the current work, and removing the extension deletes everything it stored. See the privacy policy.

What can I do with the finished article?

Copy it as Markdown or HTML and paste it into your editor or CMS, or save the keywords, questions and article to a file.
